Priceline Hotel: When to bid... 3* Copley, Fanueil Hall, Fenway

I am new to the bidding game I have tried bidding in each zone up to $130 for Sept 17. My maximum would be $150. Should I go higher because these bids are too low for the area or should I wait until the date is closer to get the "last minute deals"? Also should I consider bidding on 2* hotels in the area?

I will add though that it doesn't appear you're close for a 3* so i would raise your bid to your maximum just to give it a shot. However, before trying that, you may also want to consider a 4* in Cambridge. HOTWIRE has a 4* in this zone for $168 with Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa icons. This matches previous reports for the Royal Sonesta, which if correct, reports indicate easy access to Downtown via the T (looks like less than a 10 minute walk)

You could try bidding on PRICELINE in the Cambridge zone for a better price, but no assurance this is the hotel you'll receive from bidding.
