Did you want the Marriot? Were you worried that you might get the Arc??

Yes I was hoping for the Marriott and not The Arc but I was willing to take either. Had no choice really. They are both rated at 4 stars so the quality should (???) be similar.

This was my first bid (and win) as well so good luck.

Click the Priceline.com (blue background box above with the 'priceline.com' text in white) link and it will get you to the right place to start (Don't bother putting in the dates first or click on the go button). On the Priceline site, under William Shatner is the 'Name your own price' section. Click on the 'bid now' under the hotels.

After that follow the directions on the slide-out window (location, start and end dates, then bid now).

Tip: In the Ottawa region, only the downtown area has a 4* hotel; so if your first bid isn't accepted, up the amount slightly and add another area (Gloucester for example). Try again. If still not successful, try again (up bid and add Ottawa West or Hull).

Actually, if you do input the city, dates and number of rooms needed, once you click the GO button you'll be taken directly to the correct bidding page which saves you a few extra steps and clicks of the mouse :)

Really! Cause it didn't work for me the two times i tried it. Maybe it has something to do with the firewall I am behind here at work.
