What time did you bid on this room? I've usually been able to get rooms for right around the bid prices here on betterbidding... But lately I can't seem to get a room for anywhere near what people are claiming they have won rooms for.

Right now I'm trying to get a room in Baltimore down town, and I can't seem to get a 3.5 star bid accepted for $70! I don't want to go any higher than that.

I've heard that the hotels change their acceptance guidelines throughout the day... What time of day was it when you made this winning bid?

Hotels adjust their prices when necessary based upon new reservations, cancellations, and occupancy levels at their hotel... but there is no policy nor do hotels have standing instructions "from 3pm-5pm accept $70 but from 5pm-11pm require $87".
