Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Palazzo

I am looking for 3 rooms at either the Venetian or Palazzo for a buddies trip.

I saw the another member was able to get a room for $136 a couple weeks ago.

I bid up to $177 today with no success!

I noticed that rates are creeping up a bit at Venetian, Palazzo (about $300 a night)

I wonder if rates will come back down if I wait until next week??

Any advice?

There is no way to bid for a particular property - you may get a different 5* than the Venetian or Palazzo when bidding for 5* North. What would be your desired budget per night?

If there is something going on in the area, rates could go up and hotels may not discount as aggressively.

(Title should state "north strip", not "north south", I did not bid south strip)

First bid accepted @ $165 for 3 rooms. I know I could have saved more but got too anxious due to the previous days happenings.

Yesterday I bid up to $177 and got rejected. Rates must have dropped a bit....I should have started low again....but oh well, still saved a good chunk of $.
