Hotwire Hotel: 4* hotel midtown east

Hello,

We are planning to visit New York from aug 25 - aug 29. It will be two adults and my daughter who is 6mths old. I am looking on hotwire and they have a 4star hotel in the midtown east area hotel for $170. Is this is a good price and which hotel is this likely to be. To be honest by original budget was only $150 and was willing to be in a 3star hotel. I just need to make sure that the hotel is close to the tourist area preferably walking distance as we will need to frequently come back to the hotel to put my daughter down for a nap or if she is cranky for any reason. I also want a hotel that is safe, clean and comfortable.

Some of the 3*'s and 3.5*'s in MTE are rather far East in that particular zone, but the 4*'s in MTE are fine.

The above is a match for the W New York so this would be my best guess for this one.

Not sure what more you would be looking for in something 'better', but this hotel is a currently a little under-priced relative to its peers, given that everything else on HOTWIRE at the 3* or better rating is not has fewer stars, but is also more expensive.
