Priceline Hotel: 4* Millennium-loop-Grant Park Sept 17-20

I have been trying for weeks to get a reasonable rate on a 4* hotel in this area. Recent posts I've seen for Aug bookings are anywhere from $60 to $110. But I've gone up to $140 and still no dice. Should I wait until the dates of my stay are closer to cash in, or does it make more sense to try to find something before rates really skyrocket.

There is no way to know if rates will come down closer to your stay - they could stay the same or head higher (especially if there's something going on during your stay.) I don't think you're far off from a win for these dates, and would proceed higher - if you do want to continue to bid higher - by $5's.
