Priceline Hotel: HELP: Las Vegas 3*+ 6/17-6/19 (strip area)

I will be las vegas during 6/17-6/19. I checked the MOD suggested monte carlo, it is so expensive ($149.50 per nite). I think MOD (thereuare) mentioned about about $69.50 per night. How can I get that price. Do not know if priceline is safe to get a decent hotel in strip area.

I appreciate it if somebody could help me about that.

Just checked priceline, Does Las Vegas Strip Vicinity mean "the strip area"??

Why boulder strip is gray and cannot be selected??

Boulder is greyed out because Priceline does not currently offer hotels in that area. Best not to use the zone names for a picture of the zone, better to click on the map and see exactly how they define the boundary... your hotel can be anywhere within the shaded region.

That is not a bad rate for a 4* hotel on the strip on a weekend. Rates on the weekends in Vegas often command 2x-4x the amount for the same rooms mid-week.

What is your expected budget? You could book a 'low tower' room at the Boardwalk Hotel for $99/nite. The location is excellent, but it is one of the lower tier properties on the strip.

Thanks MOD, My budget is $100 per nite. I just booked Boardwalk Hotel as my backup. I will try my luck on priceline.

Keep us updated... but also keep in mind that with Priceline you could get a hotel not on the strip as the zone covers a bit more than what most consider to be 'the strip'.

Just gave up, up to $125, still cannot get 4 * on the strip. I go for boardwalk.
