motomoto Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Hi can someone help me figure out through HOTWIRE1. which hotel this is and 2. should we wait for a closer date to bid before we go. Travel dates are 9-6--9-10 (day after labor day). ammenites are non smoking, wifi, fitness center, ,pool, high speed internet. 85% recomended. 2 adults 2 kids $72 per night. I think it is sheraton garden grove. I have purchased 3.5* in the past closer to the september travel dates and got rates in the $50's. One more question is there a way to use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE to get a suite or hotel with complimentary breakfast or kitchen?
AaronJB Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Please provide a follow-up for your prior Disneyland Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 I have purchased 3.5* in the past closer to the september travel dates and got rates in the $50's.I assume you're referring to your previous Hotwire Orlando thread from last year? Please follow-up that thread with the details of your purcahse (you can still view by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page)... then reply to this thread and we'll have a look at your offer above. Please remember to follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing for the stay, even if you choose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. motomoto Posted August 1, 2011 Author Report Posted August 1, 2011 Hi guys no I am not refering to any other thread, orlando or other. I am confused what you guys are asking, can you or someone else just do their best to answer my questions as I had several. Just forget the comment about purchases in the past if it helps, the question still remains if that price is decent or with anaheim if I would be better waitingl until a closer travel date to purchase. and yes i can follow the links to hotwire. thanks
thereuare Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Please provide a follow-up for your prior Disneyland Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread.)You need to 'conclude' your previous thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. motomoto Posted August 2, 2011 Author Report Posted August 2, 2011 Ok, that is what I thought also. 2. should we wait for a closer date to bid before we go. One more question is there a way to use hotwire or priceline to get a suite or hotel with complimentary breakfast or kitchen?
thereuare Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 should we wait for a closer date to bid before we go.See the related 'Bid Early or Close to Check-in' link in our PRICELINE FAQ. One more question is there a way to use hotwire or priceline to get a suite or hotel with complimentary breakfast or kitchen? With HOTWIRE you can look for a property with the 'S' icon designating Suite, the Coffee Cup icon designating a Complimentary Breakfast, and/or the Frying Pan designating a Kitchen or Kitchenette. You may also want to consider a Condo as it may have all the amenities you're looking for. Also, note that the Suite icon indicates usually indicates the room divided into separate sleeping and living spaces (like at a mid-level all-suite hotel)... not necessarily two separate rooms with a door/wall separating the two. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
