My $42 bid for 2.5* yesterday was not accepted, so today I bid $44 and won. I just now went to close my bidding window, and noticed my winning bid page says " Congratulations, we've upgraded your hotel quality level to a 3 star hotel." Therefore the star level of this property has not changed.
