f0nz0 Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 did a search for 1 room 4 occupants dates 9/2-9/54.5* near strip west$262 nightamenities:Studio Fully-equipped Kitchen Casino Daily Housekeeping Air-Conditioning Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Front Desk 24-hour Front Desk Golf Nearby Spa Services Condo Pretty sure from reading other threads that this is Palms Placemy question is, you guys think this would be the 1 bedroom suite? or studio suite? im super tempted to do the deal, but i NEEEEEED it to be the 1 bedroom suitethanks in advance
AaronJB Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)My guess would be Palms Place, but HOTWIRE rooms are only for standard/non-upgraded rooms. While you could *request* the 1BR suite, the hotel could say no entirely or charge an upgrade fee.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
f0nz0 Posted July 30, 2011 Author Report Posted July 30, 2011 hmm well does it make a difference that palms place only offers 3 types of rooms? studio1 bedroom suite2 bedroom suiteacccoring to palms.com their studio room is going for an avg rate of $199.99 for those same dates, is hotwire sometimes more expensive than the property website? for reference on palms.com the 1 bedroom suite is going for an avg nightly rate of $365hotwire says nightly room rate for the one im looking at is $262decisions.....
thereuare Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Please start by reading your messages.I belive you're searching HOTWIRE for 4 adults and only searching the Palms Place website for 2adults, and this accounts for what appears to be the cheaper prces at the Palms website. If you compare apples-to-apples, and change your search at the Palms website to 4adults, the HOTWIRE rate will be cheaper (as it also is when comparing a room for only 2adults thru each service)...i NEEEEEED it to be the 1 bedroom suiteI would advise that you book direct where you can specifically purchase the 1BR suites. PRICELINE / HOTWIRE reservations are almost always for 'standard' rooms, and for guests who are flexible in their plans... if you need (vs. want) a specific room type which would be considered an upgrade, then you would be best to book thru a non-opaque channel to ensure you get the type of room you would like. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or our support page for your hotel direct purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
