evilkween Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 I got the Hotel Rouge for $200 a night from 9/22 - 9/25. Looks like it's going for $250/night regularly so not sure how great of a price this is, though it seems to be a busy time of year.
thereuare Posted July 29, 2011 Report Posted July 29, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success! When demand is strong and rates increase, even though there is more margin for the hotels, we often see the discount (on a percentage basis) go down. The reason being that hotels are in a strong position and there is a greater chance they can sell rooms on their own (at full price) and therefore don't need to discount as deeply thru other booking channels. Savings of $50 over 3 nites still adds up pretty quick though :)Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
