Wanted to book a last minute trip to Toronto for the long weekend in Ontario.

For a 4 night stay that would have been over $600!!! I guess that's the price I pay for waiting until the last minute.

But capitalism works both ways, so the price they pay is losing a sale since I just gave up this time.

I'll go to Toronto another time, when the prices are within my budget.

Your board and Priceline have saved me lots of dollars in the past.

I figured I would post the bid history so people get an idea of how fast prices can go up at the last minute.

In the end it all worked out for me, since I'll be enjoying the weekend closer to home instead.

This is Caribana weekend here in Toronto, probably the busiest weekend of the year for our hotels. You probably wouldn't have done much better in advance! Hope you come visit another, less busy weekend! :)
