Priceline Hotel: 4* San Jose Fairmont San Jose

Won bid prior to discovering this forum. So I think I was luck :)

Online prices at the time were $219 on most sites and $189 on Fairmont's own site.

I bid for July 25 - July 31, 2011 and ended up lowering my bid to just the 25th and 26th.

I started out with $60/night and was refused, added another area at $65/night and was refused. So I gave up for the 24 hour period

Next night, Tried $65 again, priceline came back with if you bid $20 more etc. I chose to add another area and entered $75/night. It was accepted.

Had a great stay at the hotel, except literally EVERY time I went to use my card key, it didn't work. Even when I stopped at the front desk to get it recoded.
