Hotwire Hotel: Seems that Hotwire does not have any partnership anymore with Venetian

Seems that Hotwire does not have any partnership anymore with Venetian / Palazzo.

Recently, I booked with Hotwire.com for a 5-stars Hotel in Las Vegas Strip - North.

Hotwire used to differentiate between Venetian/Palazzo Casino Resort and Trump International with the word "HOTEL" and "CONDO" on their 5 Stars listing.

Without hesitant, I booked the 5 stars "HOTEL" through hotwire, and I was getting Trump as the hotel result. I did not realize that the "Casino" amenity was missing from the listing.

I was very dissapointed and immediately called Hotwire.com for complaint. Based on my experience, I told the Customer Service officer that I was being cheated through their hotel listing. I also told the customer services, that there was no changes done by the hotel that would justify the conversion from "CONDO" to "HOTEL".

I received a full refund on my booking. I don't like Trump because if you stay there, it doesn't feel the ambiance that you are in Las Vegas. :)

I tried to search the next weekend, and I couldn't find any Palazzo or Venetian Hotel listing anymore on Hotwire.

HOTWIRE only shown one hotel at each star level per zone (if condos are offered in the area additionally one condo will be shown)... the leach expensive hotel is the one that is shown.

Since HOTWIRE has now re-classified the Trump from 'condo' to 'hotel', it is likely that this property is now the least expensive property in the zone for most dates, and therefore only it shown, instead of any of the other 5* hotels in the zone.
