Priceline Hotel: Need tips for P.L. bidding in Atl City 7/29 & 7/30

I'm looking to get the Tropicana or better in Atlantic City (Casino Zone), NJ for 2 nights 7/29 & 7/30. Better Bidding NJ hotel list shows the Trop at a 3*. Prices are high this time of year. Any recommendations? Thanks...

There is no "Casino zone" on PRICELINE and the while i assume you mean zone2 "Atlantic City Area", note that this zone does include some parts of the zone which is not on the boardwalk or in the marina.

Have you done any bidding already? What is your maximum bid for this stay?

I don't think your budget is likely going to be enough for a summer weekend, but if you want to give a try:

At the 3* level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Select 3* Atlantic City...

Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $140, close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE

Select 3* Atlantic City and re-bid zone2...

Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $150
