IVIarissa Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Just won a Priceline bid for 4* hotel in Monterey, CA for September 3 & 4 for Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay.Have been bidding for about a week, starting at $100 & went up $5 each time. When I bid 130, Priceline was going to allow me to bid once more without making changes if I raised my bid to $155. I tried $140 today and was successful.Nothing like the $70/night I got it for last October, but still not bad price for a holiday weekend. :)
