wendyb Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 I have a question...I would love to stay at this property rahter than some of the other 4* downtown STL hotels. I'm wanting to stay Sat. 7-30 and Sun. 7-31. Would it be better to try my bid for one night only. (in the event that I get a different property and could retry for Sun) I know PRICELINE used to allow you to add another night after your bid was accepted. Is this still the case? However, would it be more likely to get a win asking for 2 nights to begin with? Any help would be appreciated.
thereuare Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 When the add a nite feature is offered, it does not ensure that you'll be able to extend your stay for the additional nite, you could be told:-you've successfully extended your stay-you can extend your stay but only at $xx (and you'll then be give the option to accept/rejection the higher price)-no availability at all for your additional niteBidding for two nites doesn't increase your chances of a successful bid.If you'd like further help with this an upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
