Cimbom Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 I found this on Hotwire:Amenities: Smoke free, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center and high speed internet. Recommended in 95% of customer reviews.Any way of knowing if this is the Westin rather than the Hyatt?
AaronJB Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Good evening. Please confirm the star rating and date/s of travel.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Cimbom Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 It is 4* on Hotwire. Checking in for 1 night on October 1.
thereuare Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 The Westin has been seen with this amenity set, while the Hyatt has not, so i'd favor the Westin for this one, although with very similar amenities can't be too certain. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Cimbom Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 Which would be more likely - buying this Hotwire deal or trying to bid on Priceline? I've got the seven nights before this on there so is there a chance it would come up again? I'm so indecisive :)
thereuare Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 I favor the above being the Westin but not so confident about it... maybe 60/40 or 65/35.Have you tried extending your existing priceline reservation one nite? Cimbom Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 How can I do that? I initially bid for 5 nights and then Priceline asked if I wanted to extend it so I added 2 extra nights. Wish I did 3 but I didn't plan to have a mini-break when I placed the bid.
thereuare Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Which would be more likely - buying this Hotwire deal or trying to bid on Priceline?I gave my thoughts and confidence level above on this being the Westin vs. the Hyatt.. so you need to determine if the odds are worth a paying a little to for the slight increased chance this is the Westin OR if you want to pay a little less and not have a guess as to which 4* hotel in the zone you will receive. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Cimbom Posted July 28, 2011 Author Report Posted July 28, 2011 I just went ahead with the Hotwire deal and it was the Westin! $155 for October 1 stay :)
thereuare Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see it was the one you were hoping for and won't need to change hotels from your previous priceline hotel win from the days prior.Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay.
