anne22 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 I am looking to book a room in the near future, at the Sheraton Towers or like hotel near navy pier. I don't see any rooms available now. Does this type of better hotel open up more rooms say a day or two before a date if unfilled then, or am I more likely to find them by now.
AaronJB Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)In terms of purchasing closer to the date, please read this section in the PRICELINE FAQ.Additionally, there is no way to guarantee with either service a room in the specific area near the Sheraton. You have to be willing to possibly accept a hotel anywhere within the Mag Mile/Streeterville zone on HOTWIRE (which would be the zone where Navy Pier is) or the River North-NMA area (the PRICELINE zone where NP is.)If you would like assistance with your stay, please provide the date/s of travel and budget.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

anne22 Posted July 27, 2011 Author Report Posted July 27, 2011 I am wondering if a week or two away from when I want to stay somewhere, I am not finding a room for that night in the area or star rating that I want, how likely will a hotel put up more rooms say - just a day or two from a date? Do they hold onto some rooms and them make them available at the bidding sites if not sold by then, or not?
