I tried Priceline first in the Bloomington-Airport and the Eagan areas at the 2.5* level and above (because at those star levels in Priceline I think all of the hotels in those areas have airport shuttles, a necessity because this stay precedes a crack-of-dawn departure) with bids up to $60, but got nothing but rejections. I finally gave up on Priceline and went to Hotwire where I could assure a hotel with an airport shuttle. The Bloomington West area is marginally farther from the airport, but with the shuttle it doesn't matter much. The amenities listed on this hotel are: shuttle/breakfast/fitness center/pool/business center/laundry/ high speed internet. The regular rate on Hotwire for this hotel on this date is $92/night.
