Started out 4 star, worked my way down to 3 star eventually, even included North West and South Waterfront areas, a little surprised they all failed. Will be bidding again in a bit at higher rates, we'll see what happens. Guess what links I used to start my bidding?

I've been trying for 4 days, and finally ended up getting a 3* in Lake Oswego area for $95. Lloyd-Convention and Jantzen Beach were complete sold out when I searched on the normal PRICELINE site. Must be some sort of event in town.

In any event, even going to my favorite hotels and checking their own site, quite a few had nothign available, at least for the Saturday.I ended up biting the bullet and way over paying, $175 a night at The Nines in DT.
