moodyaardvark Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 Hi,New here and to Priceline. Got Sheraton National in Arlington, VA, for $55. Can I get the history of my bids anywhere on Priceline? I'd like to post it (as I've now found out you wish for it to be posted), but didn't keep track of what I did, and can't find it anywhere on PL. Anyway, I did as I learned here: bid on/added one zone at a time. Began at $35 in "White House - Downtown", gradually going up to $55 in $5 increments.Questions I have:1. Have Canadians who've used PL ever encountered any problems when checking in at the hotel? I mean, part of the address is false ("State" and "Zip")?2. We are 4 adults. When I visit the Sheraton website, I see that the room, for 2, is $134. The same room, for the same nights, for 4 adults, is $194. Does this mean we will be forced to pay $115 instead of $55???Thank you for your service and your answers.
thereuare Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win.Priceline doesn't use 'snail mail' for anything, if there is a problem with your reservation Priceline will use whatever means they have available to try to contact you... email is usually the first line of defense.I don't believe you can retrieve your bidding history... unless you still have all of the rejected emails that priceline sends.Priceline only guarantees double occupancy, so you need to hope that you can get a room with two beds... call the hotel now and put in a request for a room with two beds. It won't be guaranteed, but at least your request will be noted. When you arrive at the hotel i would only have one (or two) people go up to the desk and not all four of you.Any other questions feel free to ask.Let us know how it goes.
