bidder123
I have put in a bid beginning of the week at 100 for 6/12-14 and came back with a counter offer of 184. I declined and resubmitted it again yesterday and got a counter offer of 135. I resubmitted the bid last night and today with additional areas and got back with no offers. I started with 100 for the 184 counter offer. I moved up in 5 dollar increments. I like to confirm that the only 5* are venetian and bellagio? I plan on resubmitting bids with other Vegas areas added. Please let me know if there are other things I can try. I have a feeling that I might regret not jumping in on the 135 counter offer. thereuare
The Venetian is the only 5* hotel which has been reported on this board in this Strip zone. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
bidder123
So there is no 5* at UNLV area, Henderson Airport, etc? Link to comment
thereuare
DO NOT use the hotel lists to determine re-bid zones. From PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED:The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.If you don't understand the above feel free to ask further. bidder123
The highest rejected bid was $120. I bidded up from 100 in 5 dollar increments. I had two counter offers of 180s at my 100 bid and 135 counter offer at my 110 or 115 bid. Link to comment
