thereuare Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Please use separate threads for each leg of your stay. We'll use this thread for your 10/15-10/16 stay, feel free to start a NEW TOPIC for your 11/12-11/15 stay.Searching for 2adults/2children will often change pricing and the hotels offered.... did you do the search above for 2adults/2children? If not, do the same hotels (for 10/15-10/16) appear and at a price still within your budget? Please click this HOTWIRE link before replying. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! thibau Posted July 25, 2011 Author Report Posted July 25, 2011 I will start a new thread for the later date.About the earlier date, I did look for 2adults/2kids when I did my search.Nevertheless I did the same search again using your link, the only difference this time was that the 3.5* hotel went from 99 to 101 and the 4 from106 to 107.they are all in within my budget. My concern is if I will at least have 2 double beds in the room. In one of my searches I think the Westin Colonnade (coral gables) was a possibility and this particular hotel didn't have rooms with 2 beds.tks
thibau Posted July 25, 2011 Author Report Posted July 25, 2011 Looking further, I also saw a 2.5* for 68.00 with Airport Shuttle Complimentary - Breakfast - Pool(s) - Laundry Facilities (self-service) - High-Speed Internet Access, that i think might be the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Miami hotel, do you think it is?!?! It could be an option since it is for 1 night only and the Fairfield Inn is the only 2.5* that I would risk, otherwise I would rather stay in a higher ranked like the ones above.tks again.
thereuare Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 My concern is if I will at least have 2 double beds in the room. You can't ensure 2 double beds in the room... but HOTWIRE guarantees 'sleeping accommodations' for everyone you include in your search. While this usually/often means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc... would these be acceptable for your needs? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thibau Posted July 26, 2011 Author Report Posted July 26, 2011 I think those kind of beds would be OK for the kids.
