ZADS Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Hello. I'm looking for tips on the best time to bid for the OMNI (in Championsgate) with checkin for: Nov 20 (staying up to 6 nights). Any tips would be appreciated. Looking, as we all are, for the best price (think best price range is approx. $65-80 per night).Thank you.
AaronJB Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Good afternoon. :)There is no way to bid for a particular property on PRICELINE - the Gaylord Palms is also another possibility when bidding in this zone at this level, and there could always be a new or re-rated hotel, as well. Are you only interested in the Omni?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly... and please click these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links before replying.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Jennerizer Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 I don't even see how the Omni is in the same zone as Gaylord Palms as the Omni is way out in the middle of nowhere...way past Orlando and Gaylord Palms is right near Lake Buena Vista area & across from the World Marriott. Doesn't make sense.I just stayed at the Omni this past Wed & Thurs for $70 a night on this priceline winning bid. I bid the day before going. There is no guaranteed strategy to getting the Omni. Anyways...they are both high quality hotels...so if by chance you end up with Gaylord Palms instead of Omni, I don't think you'll be disappointed. There is a heck of a lot more to do around Gaylord Palms area. The Omni is nice, but very limited as far as things nearby unless you don't mind driving 10 to 15 miles to get there.
