wxworkoff Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Hey all,I'll been on the lookout for a room in the Back Bay area of Boston for the end of Labor Day weekend, 9/3 and 9/4. Recently a 3* hotel has popped up on Hotwire in the Back Bay at $136, which about $20 cheaper than anything else I've seen. I know there are bunch of hotels in that area, with quite a discrepancy in quality, and although the savings would be nice, I don't want to jump in without an idea of what it is. Non smoking, internet, laundry, business and fitness centers.Any ideas? Thanks!

wxworkoff Posted July 20, 2011 Author Report Posted July 20, 2011 Sure thing.Go Blue, by the way.......
thereuare Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 The 3* Back Bay property above has not yet been reported to the board, but my best guess is that this is the Hotel 140.Not sure how flexible your budget is but there is currently a 4.5* in the Quincy Market zone for $161/nite with 95% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests and the following amenities:Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, SpaThis matches both the Langham and the Inter-Continental so either of these would be my best guess for this one, and seem to be a nice 'upgrade' from this 3* Back Bay for not much more money. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.PS- GO BLUE!! :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
