hajar Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Hi,I made a colossal mistake when bidding this time around. I bid $54 for a 3 star in Downtown Toronto North and South. My bid was rejected so I added Toronto East, which only has 2 stars, as a way to rebid instantly. Unfortunately, in my haste, I clicked on Toronto Airport East. I obviously won the bid of $61 but was stuck with this location. So I called Priceline, thinking I could perhaps reason with them since I had actually made a mistake. Their policy is no refund whatsoever, but they did allow me to cancel the room for a charge of $25 if I could successfully win another room in Toronto for that same night.I declined since I didn't want to pay an additional $25.The Toronto Airport Hotel clearly used to be a Holiday Inn and was recently rebranded. Evidently, I used the board's PRICELINE link. Thanks,Hajar
