DTW to DFW oct 6-oct 11

I just found a flight (via kayak) for 161 return (one stop) to Dallas....I'm thinking that this is a good price and that I should grab it while I can.

Probably not worth even trying the bidding thing...is it?

I don't know the typical pricing on this route, but if you're happy with the flight times i would take it, as airfare is too often a crapshoot.

When buying airfare i tend to watch rates for a few weeks to get a feel for an acceptable range, then when near the bottom of the range i take it... then i check even more frequently within the next 24 hours to see if a further price drop in which case i can cancel and re-book (depending upon airline policy).
