Priceline Hotel: 4* MTW bidding strategy 7/7 - 7/10

I am hoping you can help with a bidding strategy, I need

1 room for 7/7 - 7/10 and

2 rooms for 7/7 - 7/12

Prefferred is MTW with a max of $180 (I hope this will be enough)

I think I need to bid the 3 rooms for the 3 nights together and then 2 rooms separately for the remaining 2 nights with the possiblilty of having to change hotels.

I am familiar with the 2 free rebid zones UES and UWS and I have booked a backup hotel.

I have been reading these posts and I have not seen anything come up about MTW with those dates.

You have two re-bid zones available at the 4* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board.

I would start with the following:

Select 4* MTW...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $110, close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* MTW and re-bid zone2...

Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $120.

If you want everyone to stay at the same hotel i would bid:

3 rooms for 7/7-7/10

2 rooms for 7/10-7/12

Still MTW only? If so i would try the following:

Select 4* MTW...

Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $130, close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* MTW and re-bid zone2...

Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $140.

If that fails i would seriously consider adding MTE and/or UM/CPS to your acceptable zones as summer in the city shouldn't be that expensive... but it's your money and you know what you want/expect from your vacation.
