While HOTWIRE/PRICELINE reservations are not eligible for upgrades and the hotel could definitely say no, I think this is actually one instance where I'd recommend at least trying (worst they could say is no). The River View rooms (which are the rooms on the South face of the building) provide a classic view of the river and the nearby area, especially on higher floors.Can you confirm the amenity icons that were showing with the listing? In my experience the Westin brand is very acommodating: they gave me a room with an espectacular view in Paris and that was also a HOTWIRE booking!
