Priceline Hotel: 4* London priceline bidding advice

Firstly thank you for all the wonderful advice on this site. I have been reading over for and think I have the jist of bidding on priceline but never done before so thought it would be wise to seek advice on bidding strategy first.

I am planning a short weekend break for myself and 13yr old son to London 28/7/11-31/7/11 (3 nights).

Ideally I would like to stay in a 4* hotel but budget is tight. My preferred zones in order of preference are:

1 Bloomsbury

8 Mayfair

13 westminster

5 kensington/earls court

10 regents park

9 nottinghill/bayswater

I believe I have 2 free re bid zones 4 Hammersmith & 12 Wembley

My maximum budget is $145 (

Are you willing to pay more to stay in your first choice of zone vs. your second choice, pay more for your second choice vs. third choice, etc, etc... OR is your goal the least expensive 4* or better in any of the acceptable zones?

Yes, you have your TWO re-bid zones correct, but always double check them just before bidding.
