Priceline Hotel: Boston Metro-West (Natick - Framingham) Sheraton Framingham

Just bid on 2 rooms for 4 nights in Boston, and impressed my friends with my money savings talents! Got the Sheraton on the 1st try, at 52$ (it looked like a sweet number from past wins, and there aren't any free re-bid zones to use). Total for 2 rooms of $479.84 with taxes & fees.

did you know you were bidding on the sheraton framingham first? or did you select a 3* property in that area and that is the hotel priceline came back with? ive not used priceline before but would jump at the chance of the sheraton for 2 nights for $52

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.
