I used your PRICELINE link, as well as the great information posted by forum member sfgiants28 on June 25th. I started at $120 and also received a counteroffer of $150. I thought I could maybe save a few bucks with an second bid of $128, but no go. So I went with $131, which was the same as sfgiants' winning bid, which was accepted.

We had a great stay....the beach and grounds, as well as the surrounding area are all outstanding, the hotel staff is fantastic. They are renovating rooms now, but they are doing an excellent job of separating the guests from any construction disturbance. The pool was closed for renovation too, but the beach is excellent. If you go there, check out Big Beach to the south and go snorkeling at The Dumps, just south of Big Beach.
