We bid 55 and got the downtown Marriott whose rates are normally between 100-150 depending on affiliations and specials. Looks like atlanta is cheap this weekend! I bid 50 prior to bidding 55 and my bid for 50 was rejected. I added on the Buckhead area since it was also close to downtown and ended up still getting a downtown hotel! Link to comment

Besides getting excellent hotel rates on planned trips, it's also great when you can find a great deal that enables you to take an impromptu excursion.
