bitzanjl Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 I'm trying to bid for a 3.5* or better property in Las Vegas, on or around the Strip area on 7/22-7/24. Hoping to stay in any of the following zones:Strip South, Strip North, LAS Convention, Near Strip East, Near Strip WestI'm hoping not to exceed $70/night. Is it feasible?
thereuare Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! This may be a little tough within your budget, but if the following is turned down i do think you have some options which are close (either a little higher for a higher rated hotel or dropping your star rating for a little less then your current bidding limit)....At the 3.5* level you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3.5* Strip North and Strip South...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3.5* LAS Convention, Near Strip East, Near Strip WestBid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3.5* Strip North and Strip South, LAS Convention, Near Strip East, Near Strip West...Bid $63, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. bitzanjl Posted July 20, 2011 Author Report Posted July 20, 2011 I got the South Point for $80. Not sure if I would have had a better deal if i was more patient with the process. But at least, no resort fees to worry about! (and probably the best happy hour deal in town :)) Thank you for all your help!
AaronJB Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Congrats on your success. :)Good deal for this 4* property, and glad you're happy with the result.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
