Priceline Hotel: 4* Minneapolis-St Paul (Bloomington West-MofA) Sofitel

First time on this forum

First time using priceline

all the info was very helpful

Based on the research on this forum I was able to reasonably determine that the ONLY 4 star hotel near the MOA is the Hotel Sofitel

Usually I am not too concerned with the 4 star thing, and will usually choose to stay at a Select Inn or something at that level just for the price

But I figured - what the heck - if I can get 4 star at 1 star pricing - woo hoo!!

It took 3 bids

because I thought I would lowball it at first - never hurts to try

No go at 45 or 55 but got it at $60, which is what I expected

WOO HOO !!

Hotel room $ 60 / night x2 = $120

taxes and fees $24.14 ( wtf? is there a fuel surcharge on my hotel now ?? )

total $144.14 USD

Still happy with the rate

will also be trying the following

chances are the wifi will reach
