CJJ Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 I understand he bidding process and know about adding areas but I want to make sure that the list everyone is talking about is the Priceline list that is before these boards.So if I am reading correctly that list is updated with the hotel star rating and locations.Thanks!!!

If so, yes, the list is constantly updated with information as it's reported to the board. HOWEVER, note the comments at the top of the hotel list that it should never be considered complete/finite since new hotels are added to the system all the time and upgrades and downgrades occur often. For this reason, the lists shouldn't be used for re-bidding purposes, and the correct way to determine your re-bid zones is discussed here: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedIf you have an upcoming trip, what are your dates of travel? I am thinking North Strip so if I understand this correctly the following areas do not have any 5 star hotels so these are the areas I can add safely as I rebid:Las Vegas AirportLas Vegas Convention CenterLas Vegas Fremont StreetLas Vegas HendersonLas Vegas near Strip EastLas Vegas near Strip WestLas Vegas Lake Las VegasLas Vegas SummerlinHaving said that I assume that I should check the lists again before I add an area to my bid.Thanks!!!

If you read that thread and are confused just post back and we'll break it down further for you. I think if that doesn't work then I will go up $5 per bid?You want to increase your bid with each re-bid zone... otherwise you're submitting the same bid which was rejected just moments earlier.
