Here at the hotel now. (trying to use your site more, attempting to book weekend for my wife and I).

Wingate Macon on Riverside is very good hotel for $38+TTT. rated at 2.5* and I would agree. probably 5-7 years old but kept up and clean. Staff is VERY nice and extremely helpful. While checking in I asked about a gym or Y association locally that they had a relationship with that guest could use. Something more than the hotel fitness center and pool. Front desk staff told me about The Wellness Center that was <1 mile away. She said I could go online and print off a free one day guest pass. When I got up to my room, the phone rang (unusual these days with cell phones on the hip) and she had gone online found the pass and already printed it for me. GREAT place to excercise and workout while in town. Not sure if you can use the one day guest pass more than once though.

Glad you're enjoying your stay and kudos to the front desk staff for going the extra mile... more employees need to realize that little things such as this can have a positive, long lasting, impression on a guest.
