Colfax Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 If you check the Priceline Hotel List you'll see no 3.5* hotels have been reported to the board in San Jose zone, so an upgrade to 4* seems likely. If Priceline has 3* and 4* hotels in a zone, but no 3.5*, they'll still usually display a 3.5* bidding option, even though winning a 3.5* hotel isn't possible.The bedbug report on TripAdvisor looks fictional to me. In my opinion the majority of bedbug reports on TripAdvisor are fictional. The bedbug report was from someone who registered that day, posted about bedbugs, then never posted again. If Marriott really had bedbugs there would likely be multiple bedbug reports, not one, and some of them would come from longtime TripAdvisor posters.Hope you enjoy a bite-free 4* stay.
