irymama Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 I'm bidding for a 3* hotel in the downtown area of montreal. They say the median price is $112. How much lower should I bid to not get turned down. Is $80 a fair bid? Should I go lower?
irymama Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 FYI - I used this site to bid on PRICELINE. I offered $59 & $69 for a 3* in downtown & downton & old town and these bids were rejected. Later my husband bid and offered $79 and it was accepted at a 3.5* beautiful hotel...I went to the hotel website as well as Hotels.com and rooms for the same dates we got started at $197. Woohoo... Now we gotta find rooms in Toronto for the next 3 nites.

Can you confirm which zone you bid on and which hotel you won?Additionally, can you confirm the date/s of travel so that we can update the site's Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins? Thanks.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
irymama Posted July 9, 2011 Author Report Posted July 9, 2011 We bid on the downtown zone and we got the Delta Centre Ville. We arrive August 1st for 4 nights.
