Is this "Days Inn" as listed on the pinned Hotwire list or Inns of Virginia. Days Inn is fine, but inns of Virginia is too far from metro, therefore I want to be careful:)

I did search through the betterbidding HOTWIRE link. Can you please help with hotel identification. I also noticed there two days inn's in that area. One near metro and another further away.

Unfortunately we have not see a 2* hotel reported to the board with this amenity combination. It could be the Days Inn with an additional amenity icon since it was last reported to the board (the amenities do change from time to time and some hotels use multiple amenity combinations) but it could also just as easily be some other 2* hotel we don't yet know about.

Is this the only zone you're willing to accept? What is your objective for this stay?

first off, thanks a lot for taking the time to reply.

The reason I was trying to zone is, I wanted a hotel which is close to metro station as well as IAD, as I am flying into IAD and then taking the bus-metro combination to reach the hotel in the morning, leave the luggage and start my site seeing on July 16th. Arlington zone looked the most comfortable and affordable. Are there other zones I should look for with same convenience but better hotel?

Our budget is around $100 per night. We are not renting car, and thought, having a car is not necessary in Washington, DC because of the metro.

If you're willing to bid up to $100 i think you might have a chance at a 3.5* or better hotel in main DC zones... Convention Center-Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle-Woodley Park or White House-Downtown. Would you like to try for something wtihin 'downtown proper' if possible for $100 or less? If so, do you want to try for a 3.5* first OR would you prefer to try for a 3* in hopes of a lower price?
