nuxsmaniac Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Aug 24 to Aug 27 Toronto - pretty open on which area to stay - would not mind to try Downtown but not fixated on it depending on price and star level - will consider close by area with good accessibility. Budget of $90 and under including tax per nite but willing to go as high as $110 if location and rating is good. 3 stars and above preferred but again willing to go 2 stars. thanks.

nuxsmaniac Posted July 21, 2011 Author Report Posted July 21, 2011 Just thinking if DT is a good option for those nites once we factor in the parking fee. Is there somewhere closed by downtown that you would recommend thanks
thereuare Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 If you go to PRICELINE you can see which zones are closest nearby. However, i'm not sure of mass transit options from outside of the city to Downtown... should you stay outside the city how would you get to Downtown daily? If driving, where will you park once Downtown? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. nuxsmaniac Posted July 31, 2011 Author Report Posted July 31, 2011 Tried again as for TO DT South 4*and not successful with the following details:Hoping for Sheraton Centre as a result but no luck...Also had a $20 entertainment bonus case so additional $6.67 per nite added on top of bidDT south $70 ($76.67) rejectUse the 10 rebid zones and bid all the way up to $90($7.67)Contemplating either trying DT north based on recent successful history on the same nites I am looking for on Delta Chelseaor Hotwire 4 stars downtown hopefully for Sheraton with a $20 bonus cash tooWill keep all posted
thereuare Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Downtown West zone for $94 with Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. This does match multiple properties, including the Sheraton, but at the very least appears to be a 'decent' property with a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, 95% recommended by previous HOTWIRE guests, and a 4.5/5.0 rating across the board for all the criteria HOTWIRE asks guests to rate.
