New York June 17th to 22nd

Hi there New York Experts.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Restaurant week is around the time we will be in New York . But I can't find anything about it at all. I've checked the NY Tourism web site but it simply days that the "Page" is not available at this time.

We'd love to take advantage of it one evening while we are there so any information you have would be great.

That's really odd as this is the same website I've been trying. I went to "Visitors" then " Restaurants" then "Restaurant Week" and got the Not Available script. Yet, your link worked perfectly.

So now we will start browsing. Hope to find something for the 20th (the first night of the promotion) and as we will be staying in New Jersey that night do you have any recommendations of anywhere that would be easy to find for us.?

Restaurants or hotels in Jersey?

The link they wanted everybody to find didn't work, so it looked like they moved it to a different webpage on their website.

First 3 days of our trip we are staying in Manhatten and the last to nights at the Hyatt in NJ.(That's june 20th and 21st in NJ) We're definitely looking at Restaurants in Manhatten but I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to which on the "Restaurant Week" list you might think are worth recommending and also fairly easy to access taking the Path from NJ.

I'm confused........you want recommendations of restaurants to go to from the list of NYC restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, or you want recommendations of restaurants in NJ?

Sorry for the confusion. I want recommendations from the list of restaurants on the "Restaurant Week" list.

However, my husband wants me to try the River Cafe first, so perhaps you won't mind if I get back to you if that doesn't work out.

I have no clue, I've been to NY a few times before but it was years ago when I was kid so I don't remember where we ate.

A quick search online shows Zagats rates Gramercy Tavern and Union Square Cafe as its top two.
