I used the HOTWIRE link for this forum and found a deal on a 4* Kaanapali area hotel for $172/night. Dates are 2/10/12-2/15/12. Trip Advisor scores it 4.5, and it has a 95% recommendation from Hotwire users. Both the Hyatt and the Honua Kai Resort and Spa are 4* on Trip Advisor and have 4.5 scores. But there also seems to be some chatter on here to suggest it could be the Sheraton or Westin (even though those have 4.0 scores). Also says it charges a resort fee of about $30, but I don't think this matches any current hotels in the Kaanapali area. Any clarification available? The complete amenity list is below:

Resort

Beach Front

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Laundry Facilities (self-service)

High-Speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

Children's Activity Program

And no, it did not say anything about smoking or non-smoking rooms.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

The Hyatt and Sheraton have been reported with the amenity set above, so either of these would be my likely for this one. However, only the Hyatt has a 4.5/5.0 TA rating so that would be my best guess for this one. Note that the TA information shown by HOTWIRE is not updated in real time (only about once per month) so it's possible that the TA rating shown by HOTWIRE is different then the current rating shown at Tripadvisor, if the rating has changed since HOTWIRE's last update.
