Lansman
Started using the PRICELINE link for a 4* Downtown hotel at $70 and used free re-bids after changing star rating to 3.5*Rejected at $70, $75, $80, waited a day, rejected at $81, $86, accepted at $91 at the Crowne Plaza for one night starting Saturday, July 9 and ending Sunday, July 10.Total price for one night (after fees): $112.52WARNING for future bidders for hotels in Milwaukee: The hotel list on this site for Milwaukee is OUTDATED. I did not want this hotel, as I thought (incorrectly) that the Crowne Plaza was a 3* hotel (as currently listed on this site). Today, the hotel is actually a 3.5* hotel. The Milwaukee Northwest region is NOT SAFE for a free re-bid if you are trying for downtown. Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry to see you received a hotel in a zone you didn't want. The hotel lists are updated whenever new information is posted to the board, just as we have now done in upgrading this Crowne Plaza to the 3.5* level. If you read the message at the message at the top of the Priceline Hotel List it mentions that the hotel lists should never be considered complete as new hotels are added frequently, and upgrades/downgrades can occur at any time. HOWEVER, more importantly, it states to NOT use the hotel lists to determine your re-bid zones... the only method which should be used is detailed here: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedPlease read the previous link and let us know if you have any questions regarding the concept and how to correctly determine your re-bid zones. Feel free to ask for help and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board in the future before before bidding.Hope you can make this property and location work for your needs.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
