First time using Priceline. Thanks for the suggestions about re-bidding. Maybe went too high on my third bid but think it was still a great deal based on other people's prior successes and was booking only three days prior to trip (so didn't have a lot of time to spare).

PRICELINE:

First bid - 4* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial District) - $108 (rejected) -- no surprise!

Second bid - 3.5* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial District) - $108 (rejected)

Third bid - 4* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial District & MSG) - $127 (accepted)

Subtotal for two nights (7/9/11-7/11/11): $254, Taxes: $46.70, Fees: $15.16, TOTAL CHARGES: $315.86
