Bid $97 for this Thursday night stay at the 4-Star Omni Parker House. Accepted on first try (guess I started too high). With taxes and fees total is $119.12.

Only one issue. I am traveling with my 17 year old daughter in advance of her college orientation. When I called the hotel to request two beds they stated that the Priceline rate was only for a room with a single double bed. The upgrade to two doubles would be a $50 add on. I requested a cot and am keeping my fingers crossed. FYI - there are a number of reviews on Trip Advisor that mention this problem so buyer beware.

Congrats on your success. :)

Nice deal for this Boston property!

PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. While users can request two beds, it's up to the hotel - in this case, my guess is that the property has a smaller/much smaller amount of rooms w/2 beds since this is an extremely historic property (longest continually operating hotel in the US, I believe) and rooms are on the small side.

Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.

Enjoy your stay.

Used the PRICELINE link! I am aware of the Priceline 1 bed Dbl Occ guaranty but have mostly had success in getting two beds when needed by calling the front desk and and asking (very sweetly). As you said, this is an oldie with varied room sizes so it is just one of the trade offs that folks should be aware of. It will be fine for one night - my daughter will love the grand, old world decor - even if I have to sleep in the tub!
