dickson Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 We will be visiting New York city for the first time September 2 to September 9. We know we want to stay in Manhattan but are open to suggestions about where would suit us best. We'll be doing the very typical tourist activities and want easy transit access. We are hoping to find a room for $150 or below.
AaronJB Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Personally, I particularly like Midtown East and the nearby Empire State Building area, but would be fine with Midtown West and Central Park South. Chelsea and MSG-Convention would also work. Times Square is the most popular/expensive area, although I don't care for it - it's fine to visit, but too loud/hectic to stay within (in my opinion.)Please provide your desired star rating and which zones would be of interest. Thanks.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
dickson Posted July 5, 2011 Author Report Posted July 5, 2011 Thank you - I think we would be fine with midtown east, Chelsea or Empire State area - we have at least heard of those. We are flying into Newark and will be taking the train into town.We would want 3 plus or 4 . Clean and quiet are our highest priorities.
