short_stop Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Bid for Kansas City (MO), Downtown - Country Club Plaza area, 4* hotel, Oct. 1 - 4. Tried at $55/night and was denied. Tried immediately after for $70/night and was accepted. Got Hotel Phillips - a nice boutique hotel. Might have got a better price if I had waited a day or two, but we wanted to lock in our reservation. Checked Hotwire for 4* in same area and they were at $90/night. Mama is :)Can't wait to get me some good bbq!
