Looking at booking July 14 @ 4 nights.

I see a 4* Downtown area hotel @ $61.00 per night with the following:

- Smoke Free

- Fitness Ctr

- Pool

- Restaurant

- Business Ctr

- Hi Sp Internet

90% Customer Satifaction

Maybe Sheraton or Intercontinental?

Also see a 4* in French Quarter $94.00 per night with the same ammenities. 95% Customer Satisfaction

Are your dates above correct, July 14-18, as i'm not currently seeing either of these properties offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I'm only seeing a 4* hotel in the FQ for your dates above and has different amenities than the 4* above.

I see them both now too...

The Downtown property matches reports for the Sheraton while the French Quarter reports for the Westin New Orleans at Canal Place, so that would be my best guess for each.

Both would do just fine. Last trip I stayed at Hilton Riverside. These are in the same area and compare. I will use the HOTWIRE link here when I figure which hotel to book. Thanks again for the insight. I'll let you know

Sorry took so long to get back here.

On Fri July 8, got the Sheraton for $63 per night. 5 nights from July 15 - 20.

At this price I booked an extra night.

As always, I appreciate your dedication and help.

Great stay at this hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful in everyway.

All started at check-in. We were told our room was beside an elevator and was asked if that would be a problem.

I asked for a change and was put on the 41st floor with a king bed. This young lady seemed so happy to take care of us (Thanks Corey)

Location is perfect for walking to the Fr. Q. Close to the mighty Miss river and downtown as well.

Only downer was the wait for elevators. On the weekend it was up to 20 min going either way.

Lots of disgruntled folks. Other than that, I'd stay here again in a flash
